Hello, all! Welcome to my blog. If you’re here, reading this, thank you. To keep your attention I suppose I should introduce myself, and tell you what I’m doing here:

Hi again! This is me. My name is Victoria. I’m the owner of this blog, along with being a wife and a college graduate a few times over. I’m also a 42M. In bras. Which is the most important “about me” info, at least in regard to here.

You see, I’ve been well-endowed for my entire life. I’m talking DDD-cup-in-middle-school endowed. Along the way I’ve experienced a lot of pain, confusion, anger, and disgust about my body.

I wanted to create this blog to dive into some of my deeper feelings when it comes to something so otherwise socially taboo to talk about - my boobs. Your boobs. Women’s boobs. All boobs. So, yes, although the name of this post, and the blog itself, references “busty” girls, you don’t have to be a Z cup to read or relate to what I will post here.

Navigating our most important relationship, our relationship with our self-perception, is tricky always and can be downright heartbreaking at times. I wish that I had relatable resources and stories to hear about when I was developing and growing into the person that I am today.

US culture has come far in terms of plus size representation in all industries, and that’s great. But I still feel left out and underrepresented. I want to be able to truly relate to who I see on a screen or a page.

So I’ve decided to become my own representation. In the past (and sometimes now), my body and my figure has made me ashamed. I've always wanted to hide, to minimize. My body is often the first thing people comment on when they meet me, and it leaves me feeling powerless over how others perceive me, and how I perceive myself.

I want that to change. I want to love myself, and I'm tired of being quiet about what I go through. I think the best way to gain deeper understanding is to really dissect something. This blog will be a dissection of my entire life surrounding my development. I hope you find something relatable, and maybe even comforting, in these pages. Thanks for reading.

xoxo,

Victoria
